I am Namai Chandra, a researcher working at the intersection of embodied intelligence, mechatronics, and physical system design, currently a dual-major undergraduate at IIT Madras (Electronic Systems, CGPA 9.51) and NSUT (Product Design), with active research affiliations at the Max Planck Institute for Intelligent Systems, UC Berkeley Morphing Matter Lab, NTU Singapore, and the University of Cambridge​
 

My work is a fine-collaboration of robotic perception, embodied intelligence, and physical system design. I am interested in how machines can perceive, reason, and act in the real world responsibly through structured integration of hardware, sensors, and control logic. ​

This makes me deeply passionate about mechatronics and full stack system building. I enjoy working end to end, from mechanical design and structural modeling to electronics integration, embedded systems, and writing control algorithms that optimize performance under real world constraints. For me, intelligence is not just about models, but about how well the entire system works together in the real world

Origami Time With Namai is dedicated to the Japanese art of paper folding and tutorials that combine geometry, precision, and creativity.

MR FUN focuses on electro tech product design, 3D printing, and mechatronics. From building functional superhero movie props to integrating microcontrollers into working prototypes, the channel captures the journey of turning concepts into engineered systems.
